In a big mixing bowl, add all ingredients for the fruit base. Mix all together until all apples are slightly coated with the juice and spices. Transfer the fruit mixture to a baking dish.
Use the same bowl to mix all the topping ingredients together. Then gently spread the mixture onto the fruit base.
Bake at 170 C for about 30 minutes until the topping is golden.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes before serving. Grate more orange zest on top if you like.
